I have been wanting to learn how to play the guitar for quite some time now and I think it is finally time for me to get out shopping and finding some guitar gear. Anyone have any beginner guitar recommendations?
It is crazy how many different guitars, amps and other guitar equipment there is out there to choose from. How does a beginning guitarist decide? Luckily I have some experienced musician friends who have kind of taken me under their wing and guided me in the best guitar for the buck.
I got a sweet used 80’s Sqier Strat. I hear that the ones from the 80’s are the best for that brand and they were quite well made. This one is mint and is really easy to play after a friend of mine gave it a quick going over with new strings and stuff like that. Now all I need is a good amp.
